Summary: The hotel had a decoration straight out of the 90s. The bed was fairly comfortable. However, when we entered the room, we found the toilet dirty. Although we had paid for breakfast through Hotels.com, the hotel claimed it wasn’t included in our reservation and asked us to pay extra. Even though I contacted Hotels.com and they called the hotel, we were still not given breakfast. It was a complete disgrace. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I would never stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Summary: Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Charles. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional and went above and beyond to be helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Summary: Service is excellent. Location is ok because there are bus stops near the hotel that can be taken to visit the major points of interest of the city.

Summary: I liked the fact that the hotel offers services liked selling transport tickets and airport assistant. The accommodation location was convenient for buses and close to Central. But the hotel is on the main road and can get very noisy from vehicles driving passes. Hotel facilities standard is poor, kitchen utilities were disappointed, kettle faulty, unsturdy pot handle, no chopping aboard, very few items that is usable. Had terrible sleepness nights and bad back due to soft mattresses and awkward, stick out wooden bed frames which caused bruise on my legs. The furnitures in the room were mixed and watched. We had two differences red oak dinning chairs and a very low black coffees table. I did made two requests for exactly what was on the website picture which didn't happen till half durations of our stayed. For windows European/ UK buildings standard regulations testing for safety I believe it is a failed. The windows locks keeps coming loose and two large panels opened inwards. The external windows were never been cleaned and the requested to have its clean was being ignored.
